Finally took a down weekend and did some things that needed to get done. Also, got the kids to come have an early Father’s Day dinner with us. It was so very nice having them over and cooking dinner for everyone. Cooked up some amazing Salmon, asparagus, and pasta. The weather was nice, so we ate outside.
Hike in Boulder
The next day we went on a 4 mile hike with the kids. Kalysta picked the hike, which was in Boulder. The trail was the National Center for Atmospheric Research Ramble Trail, the elevation gain was high again at 721 feet. It’s hard enough starting at a higher elevation than we are used to but when the elevation gain gets added to a hike it makes it even harder. Once we got up the hill we had such a wonderful view of Boulder. It was a tough hike but the views were amazing. Being outside with everyone was great.
